Our in-app map is powered by third-party map and geocoding services. We use these only to display the map and to convert place names (such as "Senso-ji Temple") into coordinates. We do not send your name, trip details, or location to these services.
When you use the in-app map, we ask permission to access your device's location. This is used only to show your current position on the map so you can orient yourself during your trip. Your location is processed on your device in real time, is never stored by us, and is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties. You can decline or turn this off anytime in your device settings — the map still works, only the "your location" marker won't appear.
